Allen Ross
Allen is a PhD student in Biostatistics at George Washington University and a Data Scientist at The MITRE Corporation. His current research focuses on applying machine learning methods to liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry data. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a Master of Biostatistics from Duke University

He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2019 with a degree in bioinformatics, minoring in computer science. His projects involve integrating the analysis of omics data with machine learning tools.

Jenny Ogden
PhD Student of Health and Biomedical Data Science
Jenny's research interests are in developing novel systems and approaches for the analysis of omics data to support translational medicine and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Prior to returning to school at The George Washington University, she spent a decade as a practicing statistical consultant in financial services. She holds a BS in Mathematics from Houghton College and an MS in Applied Statistics from the University of Alabama.

Mahdi's research interests are in mathematical models in data science. Prior to GW, he worked for several years as a senior data scientist and led an analytical team. He holds a BS in Statistics from Shahid Beheshti University and an MS in Mathematical Statistics from Shiraz University.

Soumya Sinha

Soumya is a master's in Data Analytics student at GWU. She conducted research her undergraduate in collaboration work with Queensland University, Australia. In addition, she got selected under the global academic internship program and interned with the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) faculties. Her interests lie in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Abhigya Giri

Abhigya got a BS degree in Biological Sciences from University of Maryland, College Park and is pursuing a Master in Public Health with a focus on Biostatistics from George Washington University. Currently, his work in the lab involves helping with the development of deepath, a tool for pathway enrichment analysis of omics datasets.

Brennan Streck

Brennan has a nursing background where she specialized in hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant, her PhD explored dyadic interdependent health among cancer survivors and their partners. She is an MPH candidate at GW's Milken Institute School of Public Health and a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute. She is learning about metabolomics data analysis through her role in the Rah lab.

Shijie is a second-year graduate student majored in Computer Science at the George Washington University. Currently, He is working as a software developer in the Rahnavard Lab.
